Comtec offers two main IP telephony solutions by two different providers.

Avaya offers VoIP using their own hardware system that we can install into your cabinets. The Avaya systems currently require cabling to each phone user to accommodate the phone line which maybe in addition to the computer cabling already there.

Swyx also offers VoIP but is software-based and can reside on windows servers. The benefit of this is that only one cable is required to the user desk for both computer and phone functions. Therefore the biggest initial benefit of Swyx is the cabling cost savings.
